A Topsy Turvy Ploughed Land (?)

Getting up early in the morning and going out on a trip gets interesting when the first rays of the sun hit the horizon... This time, I could even catch the glimpse of "False Dawn" however I was so mesmerised that I missed to capture those moments. In case if you happen to travel, keep this in mind and watch for False Dawn. I will try if I happened to, again.

God given Multidimensional Camera - our eyes, can grasp the beauty with HD effect. What is seen here is much less compared to it.

When the First Rays of Sun hit the sky..... It looked like a topsy turvy ploughed land to me... then hues of colors the rays of the sun bought is beyond the capacity of this camera...

Sharing that glimpse with you...

A Foggy Morning

It was a foggy  and a very good morning. Yes, winter has arrived!

At 5.00 am, the scene outside made me feel that I was ported to heaven during sleep.... With that fog surrounding densely with very poor visibility.

Because of peak hour busy schedule I could only peep at the beauty. (Sorry, no pics of that beautiful sight).

The fog completely blocked the visibility. You will see the difference in the other pictures, that I have shared below...
I was enjoying my coffee, standing by the window, looking at the beauty outside..... Then this thought came in that there is always danger behind the beauty!

Those who drive that early foggy morning may be facing the same visibility issue....so prayed for positivity... That drive should be safe for everyone... ( I am not that much an angel... My hubby drives carefully but not everyone else on the road 😉)

Pictures taken subsequently at various times while sun was still rising....

I felt as if I was ported to heaven for sometime because of dense fog and poor visibility that even my neighbouring buildings became invisible.

In the picture below, it looked to me as if the skyscraper rose up from earth all of a sudden piercing the clouds beneath (As I was already on cloud 9 with the arrival of the winter ;-P) and made me remember the Jack's Magic Beans story.

Even the otherwise fighting Pigeons finds Unity at that hour as their morning feeding area was nearby!

The different sounds of the bird n this fog scene made me feel that I was on the floating clouds.... The  honking of the vehicles from the nearby road, brought me back to the reality! 😁

I was trying to take another sip of the hot Filter Coffee, then realised that the cup is empty! 😁

[# coffee gyan???] 😉]
When too many things accumulated from past and present with a worried future, our mind tends to have this foggy condition. We may not be able to see the solution or the task / goal that we need to do... We just get carried away by illusion thus making our mind numb.

If we organise our mind by editing unwanted stuffs, we can get clear thoughts.

As sun rise, it's ray clears away the fog. Same way an experienced elder's advice and wisdom or a Guru's bhodana clears the obstacles in the path of life and lead us in the righteous path.

Music has no language barrier.... The lyrics are in Tamizh but you will definitely enjoy the song and the soft music in the video below :-

Celestial Showers - Monsoon 2013

Seasonal Celestial showers bring in so much happiness and feast for eyes. Sharing some shots with you..... grab your umbrella otherwise you may get drenched :-)

clouds floating over the peaks

Season's first shower :-

Come the rains, the season of corn arrives on carts loaded with them on one end and a small charcoal fire stove on the other, occupying the corners of the road at open spots with a small thatched sheet as roof to give shade from rains.

Having the hot bhutta (Corn) roasted over coal fire, I was enjoying and taking some rain shots.

Isn't it a feast for eyes!.....

Every monsoon season I feel that nothing more is delightful in life than the first shower and the smell of earth. It reminds me the song "Aaj se pehle aaj se jyada, khushee aaj tak nahee milee Itanee suhanee aisee mithhee, ghadee aaj tak nahee milee"....(song from hindi film : chitchor)

We like to go on a drive to enjoy the scene that monsoon brings and here are some for your eyes!

fog and falls - all through the way....................

Lot many passers by clicked pictures by the small waterfalls on the roadside. These are people who travels by the hills, specially to get a glimpse of these tiny waterfalls and more beauty that rain brings along with it.

Humming some rain songs..... here it is for your ears (forget the language and enjoy the rain & the music)

It was raining very very heavily and we took a small drive through the kanheri hills to see the beauty of the rain....

Hope you enjoyed the celestial fiesta as much as I do.

See you with more pictures in the next monsoon season..

wish you all a great day

Just like that clicks

Sharing with you few shots clicked just like that when their beauty captured my heart.

A lone tree branch extending into the infinity .....

Bushes on the branch!!! I was reminded of the fairy tale characters, the gnomes and the pixies.... who knows, some little naughty eyes may be taking a bird's eye view of what's happening down! ;-)

A sunrise shot taken the day before we shifted from our previous house.

The couples sat on a cable and was enjoying the the swing when the breeze made the cable swing to & fro. The way they tried to balance themselves on it was a fun to watch. Learnt that these are called 'Drongos'.

New Winged visitor to my place today

Today I had a strange pair of visitors at my window. They sounded like sparrow but looked very different. First time I am seeing these beauties!

They were so kind and posed for a few shots.  I have seen them swiftly flying together happily and actively around with a grace.

If you know the name of this bird, please share it. I am also googling for it.

Bear Hugs!! ;-)

While shopping, i came across these bunch of teddies displayed. The way they were arranged looked funny, so captured in my camera. Though they were toys, they had some life in their eyes and expression. Waiting to give a bear hug!....

They were squeezing each other to come to the front, some peeping from behind eagerly to come to the front, some disappointed for not having picked up and some dozing, some smiling, some giving a naughty look......

A Lone Village Temple Before & during Monsoon

This is a lonely village temple seen in a vast open land near the hills. I have taken the picture of it before the arrival of monsoon as well as during the monsoon showers. Liked the beauty of sky providing a different ambience to it.

Rooted Rangoli - wonder of Nature

I liked the nature's beautiful design made by the roots of a tree near a shop.

First Monsoon Showers

The first monsoon showers happily drummed and i tried to capture a glimpse of it without getting my camera wet. The leaves looks fresh as the dust was washed away. They happily danced to the tunes of the rain.

Sun peeping through the clouds

Today morning it was very cloudy (monsoon clouds) and suddenly saw the sun peeping through the clouds. It was a wonderful sight seeing the sun playing hide & seek. Thought of sharing it with you here. Sun spreading a golden hue on the sky!

Foggy Morning

When the mists from the mountains visited the valley, it looked like this.

Matheran (hill station)

Matheran is a Hill Station in the outskirts of Mumbai, near a place called Neral. Its a wonderful preserved natural forest -cum-hillstation. No motor vehicles allowed inside matheran. There is a toy train plying from Neral to Matheran. Or you can catch a taxi which will leave you upto a certain point from where you can enjoy your pleasant treak of 4 kms. amidst the lush greenery of the small hill town. The locals helps you carry your luggages and be your guide to reach the town. Not all mobiles catch signal there. Hence its a good holiday destination to enjoy with your family, forgetting your boss and office.

Are you able to spot the wild Langur?

A welcome view when you start climbing the 4 km trek to the town of Matheran

View of a stream in the valley

The moon showed its face amidst the rain clouds, when the heavnely shower took some break.
