Presenting two types of butterfly bookmark. One is 3rd butterfly pattern followed from the pattern provided by Cindi in her beautiful blog

skip next 2 dc of the ring. SC in next dc.
7 tr, picot, 7 tr into 6th dc of the ring.

For Antenna :- Cut 2 meter yarn, wind it around the centre of the butterfly body leaving two ends of equal length hagning, using which make 15 chains, slst into 12th chain to form a ring. fasten off and sew the tail. repeat the same to the other piece of loose thread.
Tail for bookmark :-
attach yarn to the bottom centre of the butterfly. make required number of chain to suit your book. Make tassel and attach it to the end or crochet a big bead, fasten off.

Wow, the butterfly is simply adorable! Love the idea to use it as a bookmark :) If only I knew how to use a crochet...
Lovely butterflies - can we use them as a brouch or a hair clip [my wee suggestions] neatly done and thanks for the pattern . Unfortunately i do not know crochet
Thank you quilling queen Manu. Give it a try at leisure, its an easy art.:-)
Nitya Bhen, yes you can attach it to accessories viz., clip or hair band making it without long tail. Thank you :-)
Mira never seen anything like this! Stitching is not my forte! I picked up the glue gun from the street in bangaloer one day it cost 280rupees. I later saw a simliar one in a shop for 500.
This looks lovely Mira and is a nice idea.
Thanks for liking the preserve. I checked with my mom and she told that she makes raw mango and gooseberry preserve but instead of steaming it she grates it and then cooks directly with sugar till desired consistency is achieved.
Thank you Sonia. Lucky to have got it at a better rate. wish you happy crafting :-)
Thank you Raji :-)
